Office After Hours

Jessica thought she was alone. It was past 9 PM, the entire floor dark except for her office. The deadline was tomorrow, and she was determined to finish the presentation.

The sound of footsteps made her look up. Marcus, the new VP, stood in her doorway, loosening his tie.

"Burning the midnight oil?" His voice was low, intimate in the empty office.

"Could say the same about you," she replied, trying to ignore how good he looked with his shirt sleeves rolled up.

He moved closer, leaning against her desk. "You know, I've been watching you. The way you work, your dedication... it's incredibly attractive."

The professional line they'd carefully maintained for months dissolved in an instant. One moment they were colleagues, the next her desk was cleared with a sweep of his arm, and she was discovering that office furniture could serve very different purposes after hours.

The next morning, they both arrived separately, professional as ever. But the knowing glances they exchanged during the meeting made it clear this was just the beginning of their after-hours activities.
